Pūlama is the vocal/guitar duo of Jim Romano and Paula Kauapālaukī Rudman. They began singing and playing the music of Hawaiʻi together in 2003.
Jim and Paula present their own arrangements of traditional and modern Hawaiian mele, hapa-haole songs and original compositions, arranged with artistry and performed with aloha.
Paula's warm, lyrical vocals perfectly complement Jim's scintillating slack-key guitar and rough-smooth tenor. We are often told that it is rare to find two voices that blend so beautifully.
